Patrice Jones is a physician assistant and internationally board certified lactation consultant who has been practicing for 25 years. She recieved her physician assistant education from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1984, and completed a one-year residency for physician assistants in Pediatrics at Yale University/Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut.
She has worked at University of Southern California Women's Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, Mercy Medical Center in Balitmore, MD, New Britain General Hospital, Waterbury Hospital, and Connecticut Children's Medical Center. She began her private practice lactation consulting business approximately 44years ago.
She has been married for 24 years and has three children who were all breastfed. Patrice was able to successfully combine working full-time and exclusively breastfeeding all three children.
Patrice has experience working with difficulty and painful latch, tongue-tie, difficulties with milk supply whether it is too little or too much, transitioning home with a pre-term infant who is not successfully breastfeeding yet, plugged ducts, and mastitis, and a myriad of other issues.
